Lecture slot and venue

Lectures (for both G3 and G4):    Mondays (11:00-11:50 am), Tuesdays (11:00-11:50 am), and Wednesdays (09:00-09:50 am) in Classroom 4.

Labs (for G4)    Mondays, 01:00-04:50 pm.
Labs (for G3)    Tuesdays, 01:00-04:50 pm.
(These slots/venues may be changed occasionally. Please check the weekly schedule that is sent over email.)

Office hours: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1:30-2:30 pm.

Announcements

Attending the lectures and the labs is compulsory. The institute mandates 75% attendance (both in lectures as well as labs).
All announcements will be made here (urgent announcements will also be made via Teams/Email/WhatsApp). Please do check this section of this page at least once every day.
We had 3 introductory lectures (as per the schedule given below) in which we covered some background/preparatory material for this course.

Evaluation and Assessment

Assignments: 35 marks. You will have to make 7 assignment submissions, each of 5 marks. This will include both lab and theory assignments.
Quizzes: 15 marks. There will be 5 quizzes of 5 marks each, of which we will count the best 3. This will include both lab and theory quizzes. The dates of the quizzes will be decided and communicated to you at least a week in advance.
Minor/Mid-term exam: 20 marks
Major/End-term exam: 30 marks
There will be zero tolerance for dishonest means (including attendance proxy/fraud, copying or sharing solutions in quizzes/exams/assignments, use of mobile phones or other prohibited gadgets, etc.). Offenders will secure an F grade for themselves straight away.
