Announcements
- We will have 4 introductory
lectures (as per the schedule given above) in which we will cover the
background material for this course. Attendance in these lectures is not
mandatory but strongly encouraged. These lectures will also be recorded for
your convenience, but I would strongly advise you to attend them live so that
you can interact, ask questions, and stop me immediately when something is
unclear.

Suggested Books and Reference Material
- Digital Design (Sixth Edition) by M. Morris Mano and Michael D. Ciletti (Pearson Education).
Evaluation and Assessment
- Assignments: 35 marks. You will have to make 7 assignment submissions, each of 5 marks. This will include both lab and theory assignments.
- Quizzes: 15 marks. There will be 4 quizzes of 5 marks each, of which we will count the best 3. This will include both lab and theory quizzes. The dates of the quizzes will be decided and communicated to you well in advance.
- Minor/Mid-term exam: 20 marks
- Major/End-term exam: 30 marks
- There will be zero
tolerance for dishonest means (including attendance proxy/fraud, copying or
sharing solutions in quizzes/exams/assignments, use of mobile phones or other
prohibited gadgets, etc.). Offenders will secure an F grade for themselves
straight away.
